I really enjoyed visiting the Muslim Library of Hafiz Ahmed Aga. I have been coming to Rhodes Town since 2008, but I have always walked pass this library.Lovely tranquil building with a cobbled courtyard, and shady trees. The building is modest, but inside there are display cabinets and artifacts explaining what Hafiz Ahmed's library was all about. It was his vision to make the library a centre of learning for the literate population.Great place to go and visit, especially for those with an open, curious and appreciative mind.
A interesting place to find, a Muslim library museum. Lovely courtyard cobbles but not much else to see inside?
Rude owners. Refused entry in the middle of the day. Literally just looked at me and said no.
Fabulous mosaics!!! So much history. Loved the solid wood furniture
