Tried to book. Hotel does not allow you to have more than 2 children. I cannot set request for more than 2 children.Interesting business model. I do believe service is great too, location is great.
We’ve had a great time staying at the Apollo Beach Hotel this summer. It was our 3 year old’s daughter first trip abroad and we were a little nervous but she had an excellent time. The weather was exceedingly hot and the pools available at the hotel helped a lot, both the small one, designed for babies and toddlers and the larger one, were adults can also swim. What I personally enjoyed was the reclusive, quiet lounge area from where I could relax in the comfort of the A/C while reading a book and watching the swimmers in the indoor swimming pool. The food was excellent and the staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious and clean. There are all sorts of activities for children in the afternoon and in the evening. The pizza made on the spot at the snack bar is excellent. Our daughter did need some medical attention at one point and the hotel contacted a pediatrician that, for a fee, quickly, efficiently and very gently solved the problem and prescribed some much needed medication, so we could continue to enjoy our stay in Greece. The hotel is located some 30 minutes by bus from the city of Rhodes where the medieval castle is a major highlight. We visited the city twice and would very much like to return, possibly for a relaxed city break. All in all, a great experience.
We stayed 5 days from 3 october to 7 october 2024 . At that time weather was great.Moment you enter the lobby you feel that your vacation start. The reception and check in was smooth and fast. Our room was on 3 rd floor and side sea view. The hotel has a big pool and big seating area for sun beds on the grass next to the pool and very near the sandy beach. The sea was very calm with very clear and clean water. The food was great. Big variety on tue breakfast. The lunch as well around the pool in the snack bar. You will be amazed at the dinner. Everyday different buffet menu. For a good worth it vacation i very recommend this hotel.Surprised most the visitors at that time were germans:) also on 1 night night there was entertainment. Some minor things i must say and i recommend for the administration of the hotel:There should be normal soap in the toilet. At least. For the face. And of course there should be body lotion. This is a 4 stars hotel. Not nice for the reception to say: this is what we have in the room only.
The location for Apollo beach is perfect. Right on the beach, walking via the beach route takes under 5 minutes and you're at the centre. The rooms are very modern and nice but ours needed a good clean on the floors, around cupboards etc. Our bathroom was very outdated and the bath was stained with grime around it. No plug to use for the bath. Room 484 if management read this.Food changes daily, it's standard canteen style all inclusive food. Not to our liking so we switched our half board to always lunch and ate out every night instead.Be aware, if you're half board and you leave late on your last day (our coach picked up at 9pm) you only get breakfast that day. So your half board ends after breakfast on your last day. Some staff were friendly, some were quite abrupt and not the kindest. There is an outside bar serving drinks until roughly midnight, it did close up earlier some nights. The shops sells everything you may need, it closes for a few hours in the afternoon. The taxis cost us €40 to Rhodes and €20 to the waterpark from the hotel. There are watersports right outside the hotel on the beach. Absolutely brilliant.Tons of sunbeds and space on the grass. We always got some with no problems. The sea is calm and you can easily walk from sea to pool in a minute.Overall, the location is perfect, the grasses area with all the sunbeds is perfect. Very stress free. Rooms are small but clean. Bathrooms need updating. Food isnt the best but that's personal taste. I wouldn't go back but I can see why many do.
I would start by saying that it is not a 4 stars hotel. We stayed 7 nights, at the end of Aug, we were 2 adults and one 2 years old child.Bad points:-rooms are very old , especially the furniture, the doors not even to mention, floor lobby very very old-at the restaurant there are not enough baby chairs, for those with small kids to.pay attentio, if you ask somebody to bring you one or help you find one they will look at you like you asked for gold- the staff it is ok, but i would not say so much hospitality- we had half board, and at the dinner it is Not included any drink ( no any glass of water), it is the first time when we have this situation, we know that alcohol it is not included but I least one glass of water-there is only one toilette outside. If you stay on the green area close to the beach...it is a distance;-few choices at breakfast, and very repetitiveGood points:-the food was good- clean rooms-very nice beach and green area with plenty sunbeds-good location, close to the city centerOverall we had a good time, but we would not come back here.
