Nice collection of art and historical remnants of the past eras of Rhodes. The hospital which it is located in is quite a sight itself, and the well spaced arrangements make it a calm and interesting experience. (I visited in March, it should be noted)
Part 1: as they say on their homepage, the prehistory part is not available during winter. Unfortunately that also includes the Bronze Age, which technically is not pre-history.Part 2 (general review): Nice collection and entrance fee is negligible. All the pieces are listed in English and Greek and structured in different time periods. The building itself is great and houses a nice garden where the mosaics are displayed.
Good place to take a walk in. 10€ ticket for this museum and the palace. Can be visited on the next day after going to the palace. A lot of old statues, stones etc.Worth going!
Beautiful and much larger than I expected.Gardens are lovely and places to sit in the shade.Small cafe too.Well worth a visit
Impressive museum in the former hospital dating back 600-800 years ago. Very interesting to visit!
