Atlantica Aegean Blue Resort

My wife and I have just returned from a relaxing weeks holiday here at Atlantica Aegean Blue this was our first time we stay at this resort We were greeted with a free upgrade to a swim up room for being loyal customers, to the Atlantica group which is always a great start. The room was nice and clean, as was the rest of the resort. Staff were very friendly, Food was excellent for an all-inclusive . Pools were nice. We stayed around the relaxing pool most of the time, which had beautiful views of the sea. The location of this hotel is 30 minutes to Rhodes Town with a regular bus service on the opposite side of the hotel, which was €4 per person. If you don't want to travel into rhodes, there is a town 10 minutes walk from the hotel with lots of bars, restaurants, and shops , I would highly recommend this hotel for a nice break away.

Food did not feel like 5 star . Was catered toward German clientel. Hotel and setting was amazing . Just the food really let it down for us. Swim up room was freezing as in shade all day so was no good for us unfortunately 😕

Amazing hotel, great for families and kids of all ages. We have brought our 20 month old felt so welcome and kid friendly. Lots of entertainment. Very good food and drinks, coffee on tap at the bar. Would highly recommend!

Currently staying in room 326 a family room. Having stayed in 5 star hotels previously and had luxury cruises, it is safe to say that this is a 4 star.....not a 5. Great water park and the bar staff at the pool side bar are great but it lacks the attention to detail of a 5 star.No poolside drink service, sunbeds on the beach aren't included in the price, great WiFi but only BBC News on the TV with no other good channels for UK customers and no option for Netflix / Amazon like is standard in others. This is important because night time entertainment is very poor. The night time offering and lack of TV / casting has been the main let down of this hotel.The buffet restaurant food is OK and the staff are friendly, you can always find something to eat there which is important because the Al a carte restaurants are the worst we have experienced in 5 star resorts. The quality of food in them is well below standard. We ate at the Italian and the Greek Al a Carte ( the service from staff was good in both though )We are also meant to have our mini bar topped up every other day with fresh drinks. We have been here 11 days and it has been topped up twice......again...this shouldn't happen in a 5 star. There are 4 of us and they only deliver us 3 fresh towels everyday when the room is cleaned rather than the 4.Also, the bathroom has a glass door with no lock which is beyond odd and there is a button on the outside near the light switch to electrically open the blinds on the bathroom window whilst someone is on the toilet so they can be unveiled like a prize on a quiz show when someone in the room thought it was a light switch by accident.The main pool is very cold but that is because of the time of year ( October ). The sea is very warm though and very beautiful.Do not book a family room facing inland at the front of the hotel because every evening your room is blasted with music from their night time entertainment up until 11pm by the resort opposite which plays many classics like Mambo Number 5, Baby Shark at full volume etc. It got really annoying after day 2.Still had a good time here though and we have all enjoyed Rhodes ...especially Lindos and the old town.Think twice about booking this resort though because it is overpriced for what is actually on offer here. Its a 4 star not a 5 as advertised. Staff are good and friendly ( all speak multiple languages ), so this isn't a complaint, just an honest review.

Beautiful resort. Loved everything this hotel had to offer, our swim up room was lovely, always cleaned with fresh towels and mini bar topped up every other day.All the staff here were so friendly and helpful. The food and drink were great, we all liked the breakfast and snack area, spoilt for choice at dinner in the evenings (and we are all pretty fussy)The Italian restaurant was nice, very smart, didn't try out the Asian but that also looked very nice. Tried all cocktails, the local beer was good.Evening entertainment was pretty good! Kids loved the waterpark, spoilt for choice with pools! The infinity pool with bar was very nice. Overall we loved this hotel and would go back
