Tiny place with a very limited selection of dishes and drinks. That being said, everything was really good and vegetables were apparently home grown. Scenery and the place itself was really nice.
Best lunch spot on the island, the hosts (and their visiting family) were incredibly hospitable and the home grown food was unbelievable - tomatoes and cucumber were so fresh and tasty! We will definitely be back. Thank you!!
We have seen this place on the map a few times and decided to visit on our latest trip.Fairly remote, beautiful seaside location.Apparently run by two old brothers, however we only saw the old man serving and a very old little lady. Server knows a little English, no menu as you eat what's available from the garden.Unfortunately we arrived quite late in the day and they ran out of gas for the stove, so we couldn't have any cooked food. Slightly disappointing but made up by the absolutely amazing tomatoes they served with the salad. We had only a very small selection to choose from, patatas (chips/fries), salad, tzatziki, omelette and bread. Some people up and left when they couldn't have more but we were happy enough to eat what was available. I'd go back for those tomatoes alone, and the beautiful location.
Oldest taverna left in Rhodes. Fresh food only here and the chips are the best on the island. Will return again and again just for the peacefulness of this quaint old place. We returned today, since our last visit in 2019. We were pleased to see our old friend Savvas, and his sister - who cooks all the home grown food, still there welcoming guests.Like all of us, he's aged, but still relishes conversation with friends, old and new.Spent a good half hour here today - thoroughly enjoyed the peace, and reacquainted ourselves with Glyfada, Rhodes
Well ! an experience .. we won't forget for a while. Amazing location , simple but great food ,choice of 4 things all well cooked .. plus a beer or soda ..
