We dined as a family, we are all foodies and this was hands down one of the best meals we have ever had! Mussels, octopus, scallops, prawns, sea bass, sea bream and orzo with pork cheek, phenomenal! & the service was impeccable
The food was amazing. A modern interpretation of traditional Greek cuisine. Portions are huge. Prices are slightly higher than other restaurants on the island, but still reasonable. The service is excellent. The view is good, but we were on a terrace that was lower than all the nearby terraces. The tables are very close to each other and there are a lot of people in the restaurant.
Spectacular, from start to finish. We’d booked for a birthday celebration and the team were incredible. Made us feel so special without being too over the top.The food was incredible-prawn saginaki was a stand out and definitely order the lamb kleftiko-melt in your mouth lamb in the most delicious buttery pastry case. Loved it!
It's a nice, but somewhat pretentious restaurant.The rooftop terraces are pleasant and the lounge music was a welcome change, except that it was played on a loop.We had a selection of dips to start with and it was really tasty. Next, we had the seafood platter, some of it was a bit overcooked, but it was fine until we tasted the swordfish, which we literally spat out as it tasted off. We asked the waitress who cleared our table to mention it to the chef and manager, but she didn't seem to understand. Another waitress came to check on us later. She explained that there was no way it was gone off as they sell so much of it and the taste was due to the fact that it is vacuumed to be stored and then cooked vacuumed.Swordfish is not a strong fish and I don't believe it would taste like that.The management didn't make any gesture to apologise. Reading other reviews, I'm not surprised.I think this place is expensive and overrated, and very much trying to recreate a continental experience.
We spent a very good evening at Dionysos restaurant with a warm welcome from the team.Every dish we tried was tasty and beautifully presented.All the staff are very friendly and attentive.Special mention to Grigoris, who introduced us to some magnificent Greek wines!
