We stayed here for a week and loved it. The hotel is gorgeous, really clean, comfortable bed and spacious room. The staff are really friendly and professional from the staff cleaning the rooms who always greeted us in a really kind way to every other member of staff. The spa was lovely and I would recommend the maternity massage (with Eva) to any expecting mothers. The food was delicious and the dinner and breakfast was so fresh and tasty. There was a huge selection of options to choose from. The facilities are great and you can walk straight from your room to the beach or pool. It was a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend it. We were flying out late in the day and the reception staff were really accommodating and let us stay in a new room until 6pm for a small additional fee. We had only positive experiences staying here.
We have stayed here before and loved it, this time we stayed at the second building and found it not as good, the lifts only worked when they wanted to, the rooms wasn’t cleaned to any 5star standard. The management in the restaurant only looked after you if you tipped them which I found strange as surely they should earn a tip and not the other way round, the waiters were polite and very professional, they couldn’t do enough for us. The main building to the hotel is still amazing and just has we remembered.
Staff have been very friendly, great selection at all restaurants available. Spa treatments have been wonderful! However, it is designed that you do not have to leave the hotel if you do not wish, but is about 8km from Rhodes town but is 3/4km from faliraki, both of which have an abundance of restaurants and shops to keep you entertained!
We spend an amazing week at this hotel. We’d highly recommend it for October as the weather is perfect(not more than 30 degrees C during the day, water temperature 26 degrees, slight breeze). The hotel is clean, looks nicer than on the photos, the beach and the pool area are lovely. It’s worth booking the sea view rooms(check photos). The food is definitely one of the highlights but everything else was also great. We were travelling with a 10-month old baby and we couldn’t believe how friendly the staff was and how well suited this hotel is for babies. Our 10-month old baby had a medical emergency during our stay and we can’t thank the amazing hotel team enough. They went above and beyond to help us get the care the baby needed. First responder was the lovely receptionist that took my phone call for help - we unfortunately didn’t catch her name - and than she sent a true angel on Earth, Mr. Theofilos(I hope this is the correct spelling of his name)to our room in the most critical moments. He told us that he used to be a paramedic, he did the correct initial medical assessment and his presence was so calming for us and our baby. The hotel staff also took care of everything so that we could get the baby to the hospital and they also checked on us in the following days. The baby luckily fully recovered but the whole ordeal would be much worse without the support of the amazing Elysium hotel staff. We will forever cherish what Mr. Theofilos and the other team members did for us that night. He really went above and beyond to make this horrible situation much more bearable. He’s not just an invaluable hotel employee but also an amazing human being. There are many 5-stars hotels that we stayed in, but not many have such amazing staff members as Elysium. Everyone has been so warm and welcoming, especially towards our baby, but the hotel team really shined when the going got tough and this is something we will never forget. We can’t wait to return to Elysium another time as the team really made it one of the best hotels we’ve stayed in so far.
The best experience in Greece. The hotel is luxurious, the staff are kind and professional. Hygiene is on the highest possible level. Cuisine is extraordinary. I can't find any minuses no matter how hard I try. Just perfect!
