STAY AWAY!We made a reservation using CarJet. On arrival they "advise" you to make a Full Damage Waiver "insurance" on the car which is more than the price of the actual rent price. Basically forcing you to pay more than double than what you booked. Additionally, there is also 100 EUR deposit included, in case we do not return the car on the right place or time. If you do not accept the insurance, the deposit it 800 EUR. And if ANYTHING happens to the car, they will keep all 800 EUR from the deposit.We had a small bump on the back of the car, and we informed GreenMotion when that happened. They said that they will keep the deposit, even that the insurance covers Full Damage. They said that this is for administration fees.When asked "Why we need to make a Full Damage insurance, if you are still charging us?" they just replied "Otherwise we'll take 800 EUR". That's called blackmail!800 EUR For that small bump, that they won't even fix. The car had bumps and scratches everywhere from previous drivers, which they didn't fix, but I am sure they charged everyone, even with an insurance.While arguing with them, it turned out, there is no insurance company that made the actual insurance. They just take the money, and that's it. You have to deal with it!
This firm is advertising its environmental policy but the truth is something else. Their policy includes age-based discrimination which is revaled to You when You are getting the car. I am 75 so they made me pay extra 10 euros/day so for my 2 weeks renting time I had to pay 140 euros. So this firm is not for older people although older people are otherwise respected in Rhodes. What a shame GM!
Absolute scam! AVOID!The 100€ “insurance” that is “blocked” from your credit card, will not be refunded by them. I asked several times for the money to be refunded and I was ignored. Contacted my bank and provided the evidence to have the refund, GreenMotion have tried to claim the money back!! It’s an absolute scam and a tourist trap!
Huge disapointment! The only thing that worka herę od airport transfer. The service is rude, they give you a much smaller car than the one you booked and tell you to your face that the car is "similar". That is an issue when you travel with famuły and have a lot od luggage. The car was filthy, not fully tanked...
Drivers are top notch, prices are okay.We've run into some issues with retrieval and return, specifically regarding international licenses (you should get one or be prepared to pay), and service fees for returning the car outside business hours (25 eruos, be aware of it if you've got an early or late flight).In general service was very efficient, without a long wait.
