I highly recommend it!!! The atmosphere was warm and inviting in inland Rhodes and the staff was attentive. The menu had a great variety, everything I tried was delicious! The overall experience was memorable. Definitely worth a visit! Reservation is recommended.
I could give them no star at all I would. It was VERY DISAPPOINTING!!Seeing that this restaurant had amazing reviews and from reading a recommendation on an online forum we decided to drive 40 minutes just to eat here, for our last night and a special day.We were served by a lady who looked unhappy and overworked. Maybe management should think about hiring more? Or maybe helping the lady out or something. We wanted to order the lamb shoulder seeing it being served on another table but she said that was the last one, so we ordered the lamb chops instead.AFTER 20mins later we got our food, there was a couple behind us who asked if the lamb shoulder was still available, and I could hear her hesitate but she said yes. I don’t think there was a mis communication or anything - pretty sure she understood us. Yet, they severed the other couple the lamb shoulder. It was going good until then, but it was VERY DISAPPOINTING and kinda seedy kind of I don’t know it felt icky that they did that. Maybe it was the way we were dressed a bit too causal? Maybe the lady was just following orders from management I don’t know. Such a shame the food was great but was let down by the service.
Hidden in the hills of a small town on Rhodes Island, Greece, this family-run restaurant is a true gem. The menu is simple but full of amazing local dishes. The Tzatziki is the best I've had on the island – creamy and fresh. But the real star is the lamb shoulder, a special item not listed on the menu. Many people were ordering it, and it's easy to see why. It’s the best lamb I’ve ever had in Greece – tender, flavorful, and unforgettable.Don’t miss the orange pie for dessert. It's absolutely delicious and the perfect end to a wonderful meal. This place feels like home and is definitely worth a visit.
If you are in Rhodes you should definitely stop at this place to the complete the gastronomic experience of the island. They serve amazing fresh food. There are labels on the menu indicating the origin of the food, much of which comes from Rhodes.
Great food experience. It’s in the middle of mountains and forests and you need to come a long way but it’s worth it. We ate lamb shoulder and it was one of the finest meats I’ve eaten recently. Each plate was pretty original and super delicious.
