This was a great walk to the furthest south of Rhodes. Very hilly up and down, but worth it. Walking around the light house itself was a bit creepy, and sneaking a look inside, looks like people stay there. But honestly added to the atmosphere. No toilets once you get there. But a nice place back at the beach. Lots of goats roaming around.
It was a great experience..from the parking spot..it need approximately 10 minutes to cross the beach and get to the other side..from there there is well defined path..that lead you to the light house..took us 1hour in total from the parking lot to the light house..with slow walking and one or two stops to see the view and take some photos...one thing you need to be aware of is the really strong wind on the top of the light house...it was worth every minute and the view is breath taking!!NOTE!We left the parking lot at 18:30 to catch the sunset..in the way back we lost the sun..i would recommend to take a flashlight with you and stick to the path because it will be hard to find it in the dark.
I’ll start off by saying that’s it’s not an easy trek - especially as it’s 2km so do bring sensible shoes with you. The views are beautiful, and you get to meet some friendly goats. The lighthouse is abandoned, so do explore at your own risk
Old lighthouse at the end of small island. Wear proper shoes, terrain is hard to walk and it takes 30-40 minutes to get to lighthouse from parking area. Lighthouse is locked and non accessible.
Breath taking beach (literally) its extremely windy here but so cool to see. We hiked up the top for a beautiful sunset. It was crazy to watch the 2 seas are so different but then eventually join. It's worth coming to check this place out
