Rhodes Town Port

Fantastic place . Couldn’t have picked a worst day as two huge cruise ships arrived . The place was rammed and couldn’t get in any restaurants but hey ho was worth a visit

We visited Rhodes town whilst staying in Ixia such a beautiful place Old town full of history and tavernas new town full of modern bars and shops. Definitely a must visit when in Rhodes. We was introduced to a local guide by our friend Alana to a local guide Δαβίδ (David in english) he was a font of knowledge and made our visit all the more special however he did fail to warn us about buying a large beer, large is actually 2 litres in a boot shaped glass🤦🏻‍♂️ We wandered around for a few hours stopping for drinks at various bars and ate at Aktion lovely food.

Wonderful view of the port, in nice weather you can see the Turkish coast line

A nice walk and there is a taxi rank

Nice harbour, lots of big ships and yachts
