The hotel was perfectly placed for us, on a hill, but not too much of a hill. The rooms weren't huge, but I wasn’t expecting them to be. The rooms were clean and cleaned daily if so wanted. The bed was the most comfortable ever! The shower was a good size. The actual bathroom was a tad small, but we managed fine. The pool was not huge, and due to the size, loungers were limted. The hotel has a pool bar and a main bar in the reception area. The prices of drinks weren't any dearer than the pubs in the area. The self-serve breakfast had something for everyone, but it was the same food every day. Staff were friendly and helpful, we booked 2 trips at the reception, which we later found we could have booked ourselves for cheaper. Last thing, the lifts are tiny, 2 adults with 2 suitcases, and the lift was full. Overall, it was a lovely hotel and reasonably priced.
I didn’t like the hotel when you enter the room it’s dusty and filled with Ants 🐜- since i checked in I pressed the ( do not disturb) button but no need for that because they won’t respect your privacy and actually comes in without even knocking and it happened 3 times !!!!The breakfast not alot of options you can go to any nearby cafe .The balcony is not clean we found an opened beer thrown .The only thing that is good is the location .
We (husband and wife) and my wife´s parents went to Rhodes from May 21st - 5th June, so we stayed at Semiramis for two weeks! We liked and enjoyed the stay there very much! Very nice hotel and friendly stuff! We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel and the food where amazing, very tasty!! We hope to come visit again!
We spent a comfortable week here in a twin room. The beds are unbelievably comfortable. The rooms are extremely compact! The hotel itself is a weird combination of amazing and bad. The things that they do well, service, food cleanliness, welcoming etc etc etc, they do very, very well. Then there are weird anomalies like the vent in the somewhat compact shower room, was crumbling and stained. The pool is extremely small and only 1.2m at the deep end, 0.8m at the shallow end, so it's not really great for swimming but is still a nice comfortable place to chill out and relax. The hotel is ideally situated for mooching around Rhodes Town. There are a few things to be aware of, there are some built in cupboard spaces but absolutely no where to hang wet swimming gear or beach towels and although there is a balcony, there is no way to attach anything to be able to hang stuff out to dry. This may be due to the high winds, which actually blew one of our parties' beach towels off their balcony and onto a lower floor roof haha!! One of the team from the hotel managed to rescue it haha! We upgraded our rooms to a sea view, but what we actually got was a back of other buildings' view with a strip of sea down the side. (There is a bit of me that feels like the elderly woman staying at Faulty Towers and complaining that she expected a nicer sea view than the one that Torquay could offer so maybe my expectations were a little too high!) Breakfast was FABULOUS although 10am was the latest which I feel is a little early for being on holiday when you can wander around the shops in the medieval Old Town until gone 1am. All in all, well situated, a COMPLETELY AMAZING TEAM OF STAFF!! With just a few minor gripes.
I really enjoyed the 7 nights stay at Semiramis. The hotel is modern, good location as it is close to the beach ,but also to Rodos city center, offering very good services and confortable accomodation. The staff is helpful and professional. We had half board meals and the food was excellent.
