Very good resort, pretty huge. 3-4 swimming pools and very clean and tidy. Lots of tennis courts. We went at the end of the season so was relatively quiet. A pretty large resort so you must be happy to do a fair bit of walking. I did 15-22k steps most days. I must say there was probably 80% Germans at this resort which wasn’t really a bad thing it just meant most of the entertainment was spoken in German. The location is quite remote, can’t really walk outside of the resort as there’s nothing so you must take a bus. Overall we had a great time and a lovely holiday.
I travelled here from the UK with my husband and two children. One is nearly 3 and the other 3.5 months old. For a first family holiday it’s been great. The hotel isn’t overwhelming, easy enough to get around, the rooms are clean and I’m sure we were upgraded because we ended in a family room but had booked a double, the water park was perfect for our son, the theatre is a good spot although some the song choices were little inappropriate at times but again our son enjoyed it as he didn’t understand the lyrics in the songs. The food is good, can’t really complain about the amount of choice you have and their restaurants are lovely too! The coffee shop is great and so is their choice of sweet treats. The beach is beautiful, get there early to get sun loungers though! Pools, snack bars etc are all great. Overall it was a lovely holiday! The biggest let down for us was that the children’s entertainment is in German, from the songs to the staff who lead the shows all talk in German which I found odd. Our son couldn’t understand any of it? 95% of the guests were also German and I feel like the hotel is catered for Germans from the menus to the language you’re greeted in etc. This isn’t to say I have anything against anybody here I am just simply confused as to why this isn’t advertised when booking, it tells you it’s all in English which simply isn’t true. Had I have known that I’d of probably booked elsewhere and for that reason I wouldn’t come back to this hotel although we had an amazing time we felt very isolated and it wasn’t nice for our son! You’re also very secluded here, there’s nothing around and the closest town is 30+ mins away. As per value for money I think it’s OK.
Very nice hotel if you're looking for a peaceful holiday. Plenty to entertain children day and night but also lots of adult only areas. It's a 24hr all inclusive which we didn't know until we arrived which was a bonus. There's nothing outside of the hotel for miles so if you want to mooch round towns it's not for you. But there's everything you need and more on site. Big thumbs up.👍👍👍
Visited the first week of October 2024. Weather was sunny with temperatures between 24-30C for the week.TUI Magic Life is the first all inclusive 5 star resort we have visited. We are a couple in our early thirties and booked a package through TUI.The hotel is far from the airport ~2hrs via transfer. We were aware of this when booking and were happy that the resort was in a more remote area of the island.Upon arrival we checked in and were taken to our room via golf buggy, staff were helpful with luggage and our room was upgraded for free due to availability. The quality of the room and cleanliness was fantastic, with good housekeeping services. The only downside is that there is no iron in the room, so bring a travel iron unless you plan on paying (rather pricey) fees to have your clothes laundered and pressed. We had a few minor issues with the shower and fridge but a quick WhatsApp to reception helped fix these. There is no shortage of activities, from fitness classes, archery, mountain biking, dance, yoga etc. There are also other non inclusive activities such as water sports, scuba and excursions bookable at an extra cost. Car hire is also directly available in reception. The beach isn’t massive, but had enough loungers. We never struggled to secure sun beds by the pool either. The cuisine is easily the best and most consistent buffet food we've had anywhere, the local Greek produce is fresh and delightful particularly the cheeses and yoghurt. There are a cornucopia of dishes and desserts to try for breakfast, lunch and dinner, with a snack bar available which serves fresh sandwiches at all hours. There is a distinct variation in dishes between days and you can easily find something new to eat, providing you are an omnivore. There were plenty of vegetarian options but limited vegan options (to be expected abroad). We tried the Greek Taverna and Italian restaurants but found they were not much different to the buffet quality wise, the only benefit being table service. The evening entertainment was fun and heartwarming. Getting to know the energetic and warm staff behind the shows was great. They are the glue that hold the resort together, they work long shifts filling many different roles with their diverse set of skills, providing dance shows, DJ, Karaoke alongside classes during the day. We fell into a routine of seeing almost all evening entertainment and heading to the bar to relax most evenings. The free drinks are fine, but as expected paid drinks are much higher quality. If you are a Brit intolerant of other cultures you probably shouldn’t be going abroad in the first place. But it’s worth mentioning that you’ll be largely surrounded by the Germans and Dutch who we found to be friendly and very considerate. So if you’re looking to stay in a British enclave it’s probably better finding another resort. All in all an excellent and relaxing holiday, with near perfect service and facilities. TUI Magic Life run other resorts too, we will definitely be interested in visiting these in the future.
Stunning Hotel , miles from anywhere, Flavors speciality restaurant excellent. This is definitely a hotel that caters more for families, and I highly recommend it if you have a couple of children it's brilliant. But we are both in our Sixties and found it a bit too lively ,and we like a walk into a village or town . The nearest was Lindos about an hour in a taxi. One last thing there's a raised floor in the Adult only bar it's a serious trip hazard.
