Taverna Tsambikos

We had an exceptional dining experience at this lovely tavern. From the moment we arrived, the warm and welcoming atmosphere set the tone for a wonderful evening.The highlight of the meal was undoubtedly the moussaka, rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked, it was an absolute delight. The service was nothing short of superb—attentive, friendly, and genuinely caring. After our meal, we were treated to an assortment of delicious goodies, including some of the best baklava we’ve tasted, accompanied by ice cream and a unique mastic liquor, which added a delightful local touch to the experience. But the generosity didn’t stop there, we were gifted a bottle of rosé.Truly a gem you won’t want to miss!

The culinary experience at this establishment was exceptional. The host demonstrated remarkable attentiveness and generosity by offering complimentary items, including a bottle of wine, at the conclusion of our meal. The Dorada, which was the catch of the day, was exceptionally fresh and surpassed any previous fish dishes I have had the pleasure of savoring. I eagerly anticipate the opportunity to dine here again in the future.

Good service and incredible food! Homemade like dishes and everything tastes really special with attention to detail. Plus free desert and delicious liquer. One of the best we've eaten at a restaurant!

Lovely traditional Greek restaurant. We had the zucchini croquettes, pita bread with tzatziki and the dolmades for appetizers (would all recommend!). When we were still enjoying our appetizers the main dishes arrived (beef liver and the pastitsio), which was not ideal. The food was very nice. At the end we got a complementary ice cream, rolled baklava and a drink which was incredibly nice. The waitresses we had was lovely, however when the food was finished everything took quite a long time (i.e removing plates, getting the bill, etc.). All in all a great night.

We had a great time here!!! The meal was delicious! We ordered the zucchini latke it was wonderful, the moussaka was excellent!For the dessert they spoiled us with baklava and metaxa liqueur on the house😊Atmosphere was not amazing, but we came at off-season time so it’s ok. Really recommended!!
