Faethon Miniature Horses Farm

Beautiful small horses(not pony) native to Rhodes island. We brought cat food, some carrots and apples which the Old Man cut for us to feed the horses and we left him some money to buy food for animals. Also told us that some of the horses could bite and they had extra rope fence in front of them. He told us that he wouldn't feed to much the cats because then they would not catch mice, wich bite the small horses... 😅

Wonderful place! Please, visit. This men is absolutely sweetest guy, who loves his animals. We bring a carrots, apples, food for cats and few of beers. This men feeding the cats with us, we pet all the animals and he make for us a snack which we can give to horses.About the sad foal- ve met a veterinary there ale these animals have all care what they need.

This is such a beautiful place and really worth the visit. This man has dedicated his life to these amazing animals and they are the only ones left in the world. Please please please visit and bring along some apples, carrots and cat and dog food to support this man. there is no entrance fee. he is open 9-6 every day. If you can leave him a donation as this will help him preserve these animals

This place is awesome! The people who help out are amazing and very knowledgeable, they all take emence pride in what they do!They are a little off the beaten path and with the only help for the last of the the horses being from the donations and good will of visitors to the sanctuary! The horses themselves each have their own personalities which come through the more time you spend with them!There are lots of filriendly cats and and a very shy dog ! If you have the time to call please do and spare a donation to help this amazing bunch to continue their hard work to conserve the breed.If you pass a supermarket on your way I recommend picking up some apples, carrots, cat and dog food! There is no charge to feed the horses pet the friendly cats and if you've little ones there is a small play park and seating to have a picnic ! Please visit and support Diego (who lost his leg) and the volunteers to keep the farm going, as they run on charity. bring carrots, apples, dog and cat food!34 cats, 1 dog, 12 miniature horses and one newborn on the way! Because the horses are wild, they may bite you, so practice caution when feeding them. as long as you feed them from a safe distance, you’ll be fine. The volunteers can also feed them instead.A very humbling experience.
